The Student Season Ticket includes a seat for 12 of the 18 games played at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum. The season ticket is $99, including processing fees. Home games against Houston Baptist, Morehead State, Presbyterian, North Carolina A&T, Virginia and Pitt are excluded from the season ticket as they occur during university break periods. However, during the ordering process of a season ticket, you are able to add any, or all of those games to your package for just $7/game. The season ticket ordering period runs from Tuesday, September 26 at 10:00am until Thursday, October 26 at 4:00pm, while tickets are available. Below are the details of the ordering process.

Student Ticket Policy: Student tickets are only to be used by current Virginia Tech students. It is acceptable to give your ticket to another student so they can attend the game in your place provided the ticket is not altered or duplicated.
Individuals that sell or attempt to sell a student ticket for more than face value are in violation of Virginia Tech Athletics' student ticket use guidelines. Individuals that are found in violation of this guideline are subject to loss of ticket privileges.

Eligibility | Any current full-time Virginia Tech student who will also be registered for the Spring Semester 2018 and students currently enrolled full time in the Study Abroad, European Studies Center, and the Cooperative Education programs who will also be registered for the Spring Semester 2018, may purchase one season ticket. Part time students are eligible if they pay the optional athletic fee in the fall semester and will be either enrolled full time in the spring semester, or have paid the optional athletic fee for the spring semester. Spring semester enrollment will be checked with the Registrar's Office. Graduating seniors should contact the Hokie Club at (540) 231-6618 for information regarding enrollment in the Hokie Club for future season ticket orders. |
How To Order | To order a student basketball season ticket, you must complete the online form. If you purchased football student season tickets, simply log in with your student ID # and your password. For new ticket accounts, click on the link for "New Student Ticket Account - Not Yet Registered for 2017-18". You will be asked for your student number and Pin #, which is your birth month and day (mmdd) to link to your online account. You must verify the address information provided to complete registration. Once registration is complete you will have to log in using the email address you specified during registration and the newly created password to place your order. |
Cost | The cost of the student ticket is $84. A student season ticket will guarantee a seat for all home games. Houston Baptist, Morehead State, Presbyterian, North Carolina A&T, Virginia, and Pitt are not included in the season ticket, but may be added at the time of purchase for $7 each. * Guest tickets are not available for basketball due to the limited size of the student allotment. |
What if I don't order? | Students who choose not to purchase student season tickets may sign up for tickets game by game during regular student distribution utilizing the electronic lottery. Individual game tickets are distributed via email in the days before the game and must be printed off to gain admittance to Cassell Coliseum. Those details will be shared later this fall. |

Selling Tickets | Student tickets are only to be used by current Virginia Tech students. It is perfectly acceptable to give your ticket to another student so they can attend the game. You may also sell your student ticket for up to the face value of the ticket. However, any sale, or attempted selling of a student ticket for above face value is a violation of the Virginia Tech Student Ticket policy and warrants revocation of student ticket privileges. |
Ticket Availability | While the order period runs from September 26th to October 26th, there is a limit on the number of student season tickets that can be sold. If that limit is reached prior to the October 26th deadline, all tickets ordered prior to reaching the limit will be filled and the order window will be closed. |
Receiving Tickets | Student season tickets as well as student guest tickets will be delivered game by game electronically. Three days prior to each game, tickets will be posted at www.hokietickets.com/student/. Prior to each game, student season ticket holders will receive an email notifying them that tickets are posted. At that point, you simply need to log on to the website referenced above using your university PID and password to print out your ticket. The season ticket holder should print out that ticket and bring it to the coliseum on game day for admission to their seat. We do not have the ability to scan phones, tablets, or any other electronic version of your tickets. So it must be printed. Replacements will not be issued. There will be a $15.00 fee added to each order to cover the cost of electronic processing and electronic delivery. |
