ORDERING POLICIES

Order Eligibility: Season tickets are currently sold out, therefore, only Hokie Club Members are eligible to apply for season tickets that may come available for this season. For more information on the Hokie Club, logon to www.hokieclub.com or contact their office at (540) 231-6618.

Application Deadline: May 1, 2009

Late Orders: Orders received after May 1 are subject to relocation or loss of tickets.

Processing of Orders: All orders received by May 1 are entered for process. All orders not renewed during this time frame are released and will be made available for new orders and additional seat requests by current season ticket holders. All orders are processed in Hokie Club point priority order from the top down.

Ticket Limit: Refer to the Hokie Club Point Priority System information in this document.

Order Options: FOR DOCUMENTATION PURPOSES NO RENEWALS OR NEW ORDERS BY PHONE.
Option 1: Order online at www.hokietickets.com (see Instructions for online applications). You will automatically receive confirmation of your online order once you process your credit card payment.

Option 2: Sign and mail the top copy of the renewal form with full payment. Provide one primary email address on your form in order to receive an email confirmation or enclose a self-addressed, stamped postcard for notification that your order was received.

Payment: Full payment must be received by May 1 via online application (www.hokietickets.com) or paper copy via mail. We accept cash (in-person), check, money order, MasterCard or Visa. All funds are deposited upon receipt of your order.

Please include a credit card number on the order form to be charged for any new tickets. This will expedite your refund in the event we are unable to fill your request. Check refunds take an additional 6-8 weeks to process through the University Bursars office resulting in a September date for check refund receipt.

If your request cannot be filled, a credit card refund will be issued in late July. Refunds are for the price of the ticket only. Processing fees are not refunded.

Hokie Club Members Ordering Procedures:

General Public: When available, general public orders are assigned on a date-received basis. Orders are filled following the assignment of all Hokie Club orders received prior to the May 1 deadline.

Faculty/Staff: Season tickets at the Faculty/Staff rate are available only to full time Virginia Tech Faculty/Staff for their personal use and for use by their dependents. First-time purchasers must place their order in person, with their Virginia Tech ID, at the ticket office.

INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS

Individual Game Customers: If available, individual home and away game tickets will first be offered to qualifying Hokie Club members in a separate mailing and email notifications. If available, public sales for individual home and away game tickets are posted at www.hokietickets.com.

Individual Game Seating: All single game tickets are available only in areas outside the season ticket areas. Individual game tickets cannot be placed adjacent to season tickets nor can the Athletics Ticket Office remove individual games from a season ticket package in exchange for seats to be filled with an individual game order.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE APPLICATIONS

  1. Go to www.hokietickets.com
  2. Select 'Renew Tickets'.
  3. Select 'Sign in' in the left column under Your Account.
  4. Login or register to access your football ticket application.
    1. If you have registered online previously, please enter your email address or ticket customer number and your previously selected password. (Your ticket customer number is located on your renewal application above your name.)

      1. If you have forgotten your password, select the 'Forgot Password' link.
      2. Enter your email address, and your password will be emailed to you.
    2. If you have not registered online previously, click on the 'Link Your Account' in the Existing Box Office Customer box.

      1. Enter your ticket customer number and online PIN. (Your ticket customer number is located on your renewal application above your name. Your pin # is located on the top right of the form).
      2. Complete your online registration by reviewing/updating your account information and creating a password for future use.

  5. Click on the 'Football Online Renewal' link to open your application and submit your order.
  6. Make certain to print the confirmation page at the end of the order process for your records. Your confirmation number is your receipt to verify that our office has received your online application.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ALL TICKET CUSTOMERS

Game Times/Dates: Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be made because a game time and/or date is changed.

Group Seating: Individuals desiring group seating must return their paper order forms together. Each form should reference the customer number of the other individuals in the group. Season ticket holders who wish to group renewal orders that are not currently together should expect to sacrifice location. For both season ticket and single game orders, the entire group will be seated in the priority of the group member with the lowest priority.

Refunds: No refunds will be given unless an order is not filled. Refunds are for the price of the ticket only, no handling charges will be refunded.

HOKIE CLUB POINT PRIORITY SYSTEM

The Hokie Club uses a standard formula called the point priority system to assign a rank to each member of the Hokie Club. The point priority system is used to distinguish and distribute all Hokie Club benefits. The System was designed to reward those who are loyal and active supporters of the Hokie Club.

To effectively utilize the Hokie Club point priority system, the Hokie Club has designated December 31 of each year as the Benefits Deadline. Using the point priority system, the Hokie Club will rank all donors and use their rank as of December 31 for all benefits for the upcoming year, including benefits for football season tickets and parking, basketball season tickets and parking, bowl game and post-season tickets.

The point priority system takes into account such items as membership club level, current annual gift, cumulative giving history, consecutive years of membership, various involvement points including Hokie Representatives and Presidents, season and post season ticket orders and club seat purchases. Your rank is then provided to the Athletics Ticket Office for purposes of seat assignments. Ticket points are earned only if the member has purchased tickets in their name and through the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office.

Hokie Club Donations: Priority points will be calculated based on contributions made by December 31 for the upcoming year. Consideration for new seats, seat improvement (if available), single-game tickets, etc., will be based on points accrued by that date.

Priority: Orders from Hokie Club Members are prioritized according to their point priority rank as of the December 31 donation deadline.

Donation Payment: Please include a separate check for any Hokie Club donations sent with your season ticket order.

Maximum number of tickets: Platinum Hokies and above can order up to 6 season tickets all in priority. Golden Hokies and below can order up to 4 season tickets all in priority. (Refer to the Benefits Chart at www.hokieclub.com).

PARKING INFORMATIOPARKING INFORMATION

Parking maps are available at www.hokietickets.com.

Parking Passes for Hokie Club Members:
Passes are distributed to the top 6,000 members who order a parking pass by May 1 with their ticket order. Orders that exceed this number will be refunded.

Only eligible members will have parking included on their order form as a renewable or additional item.

One pass may be ordered per Hokie Club account. A parking fee is charged to park in preferred lots.

Parking lot location will be based upon the member's priority points. Special requests for parking should be included on the order form.

Parking passes will be shipped with your tickets.

Late orders will be subject to loss of parking priority and or lack of availability.

Public Parking: Public parking is available on a gameby- game basis. Pay as you enter the lot on game day.

Faculty/Staff: Faculty/Staff that are qualifying Hokie Club Members, may obtain their season pass at no charge by returning their request with their ticket order due May 1.

All other Faculty/Staff may park in the "P" public lots with their Faculty/Staff permit as availability allows.

Handicapped Parking:
For qualifying Hokie Club Members a handicapped season parking pass may be purchased in lots 1 and 2 next to the stadium. Due to demand, handicapped parking requests are filled via a lottery. If your request cannot be honored a refund will be issued in late July.

Public handicapped parking is available on a game-bygame basis in Lot H. You must display a handicap hangtag or license plate emblem to enter Lot H. Pay as you enter the lot on game day.

RV Parking:
57 RV spaces are available in preferred lots for qualifying Hokie Club Members that order RV parking with their football ticket order. Orders that exceed this number will be refunded.

Public RV spaces are available in the public RV lot on Prices Fork Road on a game-by-game basis. An attendant will collect your fees.

Bus Parking: Bus Passes are extremely limited and must be ordered in advance of the event. Call (540) 231-6731 for availability.
